Google Dork Builder

Compose site:, filetype:, date and minus-operator searches from presets.

Why this exists

Half of troubleshooting is knowing how to ask Google. Operators like site:, filetype:, after: and -site: cut through SEO spam and surface the official doc or the one Reddit thread that actually fixes it, but nobody remembers the exact syntax under ticket pressure.

How to use
  1. Type your search terms, an error string, a symptom, a product name.
  2. Pick a preset (Reddit recent, Microsoft Learn, spam-free web) or set operators by hand.
  3. The query builds live, copy it, or hit Open in Google / Bing / DuckDuckGo.
  4. Toggle Spam reduction to append -site: exclusions for the usual content farms.

Target domain

Sets site: for targeted presets and bundles. Use a domain you own or are authorized to test.

Presets

Cut through blogspam, go straight to vendor docs and real fixes.

Curated troubleshooting sweep, fires 6 queries for the current terms.

Operators

Query

Add terms or pick an operator to build a query.

Operator cheatsheet

  • site:, restrict to a domain. Multiple becomes (site:a OR site:b).
  • filetype:, match a file extension (pdf, xlsx, conf…).
  • after: / before:, date bounds, set by Recency.
  • -term / -site:, exclude noise. Spam reduction batches the usual farms.

These are Google operators; Bing and DuckDuckGo support most but not after:/before:.
